Early Life & Background
Kiara was born to Jagdeep Advani, a businessman, and Genevieve Jaffrey, a teacher. Her heritage is a beautiful mosaic: her father is Sindhi, while her mother is of Scottish, Irish, Portuguese, and Spanish ancestry.
She belongs to a lineage of artistic excellence. She is the great-granddaughter of the legendary veteran actor Ashok Kumar and the grand-niece of Saeed Jaffrey. Despite these connections, Kiara has often spoken about her father’s initial hesitation, which only vanished after he watched the film 3 Idiots and realized the importance of pursuing one’s passion.
She attended the prestigious Cathedral and John Connon School and later graduated from Jai Hind College with a degree in Mass Communications.
