About Candidate
I’m a Java Backend Developer passionate about building scalable, secure, and real-world applications using Spring Boot, microservices, and clean architecture principles. I specialize in designing modular systems, writing clean code, and delivering backend services that are reliable and easy to maintain.
I’ve architected and developed a production-style e-commerce platform comprising 4+ containerized microservices (User, Product, Cart, Order). Each service was built using Spring Cloud and Docker, orchestrated via Eureka Discovery and an API Gateway. I implemented polyglot persistence using MongoDB for product catalog and PostgreSQL for orders and transactions. For async workflows, I integrated RabbitMQ, supporting 4+ event-driven flows, and used Resilience4j with Zipkin to add fault tolerance and distributed tracing. This led to improved reliability, easier debugging, and independent scalability across services.
In a separate job portal backend project, I implemented a secure, role-based platform supporting Admin, Recruiter, and User workflows. The system features 20+ secured endpoints with JWT authentication, custom filters, DTO validations, and dynamic search via JPA Specification. A global exception handler ensured uniform error handling, boosting API maintainability and developer onboarding speed.
To sharpen my problem-solving skills, I’ve solved 350+ DSA problems on LeetCode, Codeforces, and HackerRank. I’m confident with tools like Git, Maven, Swagger, Docker, IntelliJ, Postman, and JIRA, and well-versed in real-world implementation of observability, exception handling, and backend patterns.
Earlier, I worked at Infosys as a System Engineer in the data migration team, where I contributed to high-volume data transfers using SQL and collaborated across teams to ensure zero data loss. My QA experience prior to that strengthened my SDLC and testing fundamentals.
I am now actively seeking SDE-1 or SDE-2 Backend roles, where I can contribute hands-on to impactful backend systems, take ownership, and grow within a high-performing engineering team.
