Dear Hiring Manager,
TL;DR: I am self-taught developer with experience in building low-latency software in C++ and Rust. I am also proficient in MERN stack. I have experience contributing to different open-source projects. I know my craft. At this point I just want to be a part of a collaborative team with highly motivated engineers and researchers, and contribute to the joint vision of the team to really take things from 0 to 1, or 10 to 100.
I am a physics graduate who transitioned into software development through self-directed learning, driven by a deep interest in low-level programming and decentralized technologies. I hold a master’s degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna. My primary languages are C++ and Rust, complemented by a strong foundation in machine learning and artificial intelligence. I am genuinely enthusiastic about exploring all aspects of technology.
In my independent projects, I have focused on creating efficient, low-latency systems. For instance, I developed a Rust-based cross-platform algorithmic trading bot that integrates real-time WebSocket APIs and incorporates optimizations for high-frequency trading decisions based on market conditions. Another project involved building an agent-based trading system, where a multi-client protocol server connects to a large language model to select high-performing stocks and execute trades on behalf of users. This system allows individuals to customize their trading strategies and parameters. Additionally, I designed and implemented a complete chess engine from scratch using C++23, featuring an SFML-based graphical user interface. It includes sub-millisecond 4-ply searches, move-ordering heuristics, and a modular evaluation pipeline. Currently, I am working on a behavioral tree library tailored for robotics applications.
Beyond my personal work, I actively contribute to open-source projects that capture my interest. In my spare time, I engage with engineers and researchers across various technical fields on public forums, which keeps me connected to emerging ideas and collaborations.
